Global Pricing &Contracts Manager,to join our Infectious Diseases EmergingMarkets (IDEM) commercial operations team. This new leader will be responsible for the development, implementationand monitoring of global pricing and contract governance. The PC Manager willleverage strong organisational skills to handle both the day to day and long-termrequirements of these activities in order to maximize product lifecycle andcustomer/segment profitability. S/he will work cross-functionally withcommercial leadership, finance, and marketing and sales. S/he will also beresponsible for executing enterprise-wide governance strategy and globalprocesses regarding pricing and contracts to ensure that guidelines andpolicies are followed and applied at the regional/country level.

The Role
The PCManager will be involved in the planning and execution at a regional level ofkey Value Expansion initiatives such as:
Implementationof pricing and contract governance, and associated tools (i.e. CRM)
Implementationof gross-to-net pricing tools
Implementand report on pricing performance metrics
Develop and implement global pricing strategies andprograms based on enterprise-wide pricing strategy
Implement standardized contract templates, alignedwith defined pricing strategies
Work closely with the regional Pricing and ContractsManagers to ensure global guidelines and initiatives are executed appropriatelyacross regions
Follow up with regional Pricing and Contracts Managerson implemented pricing strategies and contract governance
Monitor adoption and usage of associated tools andtake required actions to ensure required levels of adherence
Analyse and summarise actual product pricing trends incomparison with initial pricing projections and drive required correctiveaction
Provide guidance and development or adoption ofsystems and tools used for pricing analytics to determine true profitability ofcustomers and identify root cause for margin leakage
Assist Commercial teams with price and contractnegotiations
Serve as a trusted advisor in the deal approvalworkflow
Work with Contracts Management / Compliance functionto recommend customer contract terms and refine customer tier approach
Lead the execution and monitoring of established 2018price improvement initiatives and the development of 2019 price improvementinitiatives in the region

Continuously maintain subject matter expertise withdata sources and tools (including Business intelligence tools), and apply thisexpertise to develop data gathering tools, deliver high quality data and generateactionable insights and recommendations to achieve business objectives andaddress opportunities and/or challenges
Internal andField Stakeholder Management:
Closely follow the strategic direction set bymanagement when establishing near term goals
Interact with management on matters where they mayneed to gain acceptance on an alternate approach
Effectively communicate and partner up with internaland external stakeholders to align on business objectives and associated actionplan
Act independently to determine methods and procedureson new assignments
Leadershipand Teamwork / Collaboration:
Manage pricing and contracts analyst(s)
Manage, via dotted reporting line, regional Pricingand Contracts Managers
Provide support to sales team on pricing and contractissues
Fosters an environment of candour
Contribute to the team's performance, activelycollaborate within and beyond the team to design and ensure buy-in aroundsolutions
Project Management
Utilizes project management tools and skills toorganize and manage tasks and timelines in a manner that ensures timelycompletion of deliverables
Ensures accuracy of analyses and other deliverables
Ensures stakeholders are aligned with the progress ofdeliverables through the life of the project(s)
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in one of thefollowing areas: Business, Statistics, Economics, Finance, Engineering, AppliedMathematics, and/or related field.
5-7 years of work experience in Finance, AccountingAND/OR Business Operations
Candidates should understand the key challenges ofinfectious diseases in emerging markets but also have relevant experienceoutside the healthcare sector
Experience in working in global role is a plus
Previous experience in pricing, negotiation, contractgovernance is a plus
Candidate should be able to think out of the box anddemonstrate innovative thinking
Candidate will have to demonstrate an ability to adaptrapidly
Good communication and presentation skills
Demonstrated proficiency in modelling tools
Ability to develop business-oriented results withappropriate level of detail and keep the right people informed
Must be IT-savvy and have strong experience in Exceland VBA / macro programming and broad-based awareness of other analytical tools(CRM, ERP, etc.)
Must be fluent in English
Must be available to travel up to 40% of the time

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
